Spent the morning getting  some books and doing some shopping, so many thing one could buy but then would have to hire a plane to take it home.  Have just bought a couple thing for the girls and will send them out tomorrow at the post office.

Elicia will leave me this evening so we are spending the afternoon getting up to date on our emails etc. and then will have dinner together and she will go to her accommodation that have been arranged for her and then she will go to the monastery to teach for a month.

April 1, 2012.

Today I have found out that you can not really post anything other than postcards and letters from Nepal. Took my wrapped parcel and packages to the post office only to find out that they would have to be opened and checked before they could be posted and unfortunately they did not have any tape or other packaging there to redo them.  So have brought back with me and will keep them until I get to Bangkok and will  mail them from there. Just some extra weight to carry along.
Tomorrow I will get a bus and go to Chitwan National park and stay in the park for three days.  Hope to see tigers, elephants and sloth bears as well as lots of birds. 

Had an email this afternoon advising me that my visa to Tibet has been denied and they give no reason.  There has been groups that have also been denied a visa to visit and they to have not been given any reason. The hotel where I am staying is now going to try and get me a visa but they as not sure that they can and if not will going and do some trekking for 6 or 7 days before I leave for Bhutan. there has been a incident in India and this has caused a protest in Tibet and this too could be the reason but have been advised that solo visitors are suspect as they figure that i might have a alternative reason to visit, what that could be i have no idea.
