Finally had the final decision on my visa to Tibet and it is an no go.  My application has been refused three times so I am taking that to mean that they do not want me in their country.  Will not take personally as there are lots of others here in Kathmandu who have also had their applications refused.

So have book a 7 day trek in the mountains and will leave in the morning ( April 7, 2012)  and will be back to Kathmandu just one day before I leave for Bhutan.
