June 4, 2012 Humpty Doo to Darwin

Left Humpty Doo and going to Litchfield National Park, just went as far as the Magnetic Termite Mounds, and turned around and returned to National Wildlife park which takes about two hours to walk around.  Did not have a lot of time to site see today as I have to drive into Darwin and find the airport and my hotel for the evening. I have to turn the car in tomorrow morning and so have decided to stay at the airport as it is convenient as I have to return the car  here.  Did not have any problem finding the airport just took two times around as I did not see the sign the first time and had to go around again. So have driven over 2350KM, if I can do it anyone can. Just remember you drive on the left and when you enter a traffic circle the vehicle to the right usually has the right of way.
The Airport Hotel is very nice, the airport being it is a short 500M walk from the terminal and is set is a bunch of palm trees and is very nicely landscaped.  The room was great and there is a very nice Chinese restaurant just across the street form it .
