did not have any thing planned for today, so got up later then usual, and went to the coffee shop just across the road for breakfast, wandered around the area and took a few photos.  After lunch decided to take the Star Ferry to Kowloon, just walk around, all the shopping is done in the evening, also booked a night cruise of the harbor, turn out to be a great idea, Hong Kong from the water at night is spectacular, bonus they have a light show ever night, down side was partnered with very opinionated  American women who lives in Kuwait who knew everything and did not like anything.  Did not throw her off the cruise ship but did try to avoid her as much as possible.Included in the trip was a walk to the night markets in Kowloon, open top bus ride around Kowloon then the cruise which included a dinner.

Flight did not leave Hong Kong until 1335hrs, had a lazy morning just walking about , then a 8 hour flight to Brisbane arriving at 2330 hrs., bit warmer here 26C on arrival.

Feb.1, 2012.

Up this morning to sun, and 26C , went out to get my phone and internet set up.  Did a walk about then back to the hotel to get things set up.


This afternoon will go to the botanical gardens, not a long walk for the hotel.
