just two blocks away is the Queen Street Mall, about 6 blocks long on both sides of the street, no traffic, great place to shop . Spent morning just looking around. The hotel is near the Brisbane river and the botanical gardens. Went for walk in the gardens, no many flowers at this time but very lust and green.
They are doing quite a bit of work on the old historic buildings so taking photos do not do justice to the beauty of the buildings. Got my rail pass and booked my trip to MacKay, leave tomorrow at noon and will arrive at 0505hrs .
Final day in Brisbane, have to do laundry, luckily the room has a washer and drier. Warm, showers this morning, 26C but to get up to 30c by afternoon.

Nice to be able to sit out and have iced cafe latte, would only be better is friends and family could join me.
